Hi,
I have recently bought an Ocean 12 pedal.
It sounds great but sometimes it crackles badly. This happens on all reverb (except the Dyna one).
I use it with a Moog synth and the crackles occur when the input signal is high. It does not happen if I turn down the synth level down. None of my other EHX pedals do that.
I got in touch with EHX and they say that this can happen because the synth input was too loud. This is not a convincing reply. (Again) with my other EHX pedals, when the synth input is high, they may saturate if the input level is too high, but not crackles.
Here is a sample of the crackles:

Has this happen to anyone else?
Pascal
Its clearly over driving the input of the pedal. May be an impedance issue???
Please write the techs at info@ehx.com
I have actually found another user in France that has had the same issue.
Could that be a bad first batch ?
