Just wondering if there is a reason that on the latest version of this circuit (EC3003-C, 2008) that EH would change the volume pot taper from 100K to 500K, does it affect the tone or volume at all?

The taper travel on mine is abit different and it doesn’t get as much volume unless its 3/4 CW or more when compared to the other big muffs i have (newer SMD little big muff, sovtek black, sovtek tall letter green, deluxe big muff w/ blend switch).

Totally normal. Just turn it to where ever it needs to be.
