I’ve noticed a high pitched noise coming from my guitar amp when I’m not playing. It’s coming from the Voice Box. When I scroll through the presets there is a change to the noise. This happens with the pedal even if the pedal is off.
Any thoughts?
Are you using the supplied power supply?
Indeed, but now that I’m thinking about it I have that power supply powering two other pedals.
Do you think this might be the issue?
Do you think this might be the issue?
Very possible. I’d try unplugging the others and see if the noise goes away. I wouldn’t recommend powering additional pedals w/ the Voice Box’s original power supply. I’m not sure how much current it requires but adding a couple more pedals might be stretching it.
Thanks Ron I’ll give that a try. Does the Voice Box have true bypass?
One other concern I have about gigging with it is if a soundguy has left phantom power on by accident. Will that damage the pedal?

I can’t answer those questions as I have no experience w/ the unit. The manual may be able to tell you.
Greetings HardAsMum,
Did you ever get rid of your pedal’s hum? If so, how?
Thanks!
