Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Noise from Footswitch for 2880 making its way into my loops
Greetings all,
I just purchased the 2880 and absolutely love it. I’m having a problem with the footswitch though. While I was playing with it last night I noticed that the clicking sound from the footswitch (when selecting “play” to start overdubbing) was making its way into my guitar loops. How can I avoid this?
Thanks,
Matt
don’t use an omnidirectional microphone?
replace the stock switches with soft-switches http://www.davidandree.com/blog/?p=1525
and depending on what type of music you make, you could set the loop length first, then bring up your volume and start to play into the loop. that way you don’t have to do any clicking of buttons or foot-switches with an open mic.
