So I buy the new Talking Pedal…plug it in and play for a while. It’s kinda cool, different for me, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I stop playing to run some errands, and later on try to show it off to my kids and it is messed up! I changed nothing, didn’t unplug anything…the volume is extremely faint…I can barely hear it! I unplug…bypass the pedal, and everything is fine. I plug the pedal back in, same thing…10% output. Any ideas?
Is the battery dead???
It’s plugged into my pedalboard’s power supply. I suppose I could put a shiny Energizer in and see what happens. Still, the power supply was working before…and my other pedals still work. The EH pedal’s still lighting up, whether plugged into the power supply or not.

I am sorry to hear of your problems!
please contact:
info@ehx.com for help on getting your pedal back up and running.
UPDATE: I tried it again just now, and the volume drop is only there
when the effect is engaged. When the effect is off, the sound is
normal.
I was wrong about it being normal when disengaged….I just A/B’ed it in and out of the signal path, and there is still a significant volume drop when in the chain, even when it’s the only device between the guitar and amp.
So it’s been a week since I mailed the pedal back to E-H…does anyone have an idea of turnaround time for repairs from E-H?
It arrived yesterday. There was no note saying what the problem was (not that I’d understand it anyway) but it works as advertised! Thanks E-H for the quick 2-week turnaround!
