Having it would be really nice. As much as I love browsing through the list of pedals to see if there are any I don’t recognize, there are times where it would be nice if as well as being sorted by name of effect type, there was also an option to see the pedals in chronological order.

Thanks for the suggestion — at this time, new products will show up in the blog and (usually) in the grid of featured products at the top of the home page — so that’s how we presently highlight new products.

We had actually considered a few cross-category sections (meaning, a category that contains different kinds of products) — for example, “Popular Pedals” — but then we started feeling like we had too many categories.

But now that you mention it, perhaps a “New & Noteworthy” section would be helpful — and there’s still a case for “Popular Pedals” — hmmm….

Maybe you can solve this with a “new product” tag for blog posts about new products? Then you can have a page with all posts with this tag…

Only problem with that idea is, everything is a new product at some point. There needs to be a way to differentiate between what is new now, and what will be new in a year or twenty. Also, any such list would preferably link directly to the product page, rather than a blog entry about it.

Yes, but they’re still sorted from new to old on such a page, so you just look at the top…

Fair enough. My main point though was that there’s not a way to just be able to check at a glance if there are any new pedals.

Sounds like a good idea. But after how long would a pedal be considered not new and be taken off the page?
