    Just tell me it’s not a boost pedal. A lot of people on Harmony Central’s effects forum say it’s going to be a boost because in the 70s there was the Ego Microphone Boost.

    They covered boosts already, except maybe an LPB, Mole and Screaming Bird in 1?

    I mentioned the vintage Ego on HC and said that it’s possibly a voice effect, because it was a Microphone Boost.

    Maybe something like this?

    EHX seem to be saying on youtube that the 70’s ego and the new superego are unconnected.

    My guess is a new synth/octave pedal.

    (They share 2 of the same letters hOG eGO?)

    Let’s all remember that this is going to be analog, so it won’t be a new hog. He said it would be unlike anything on the market, so ate frankly, I have no guess. But really mike! It’s been over a month. You could at least tell us what it is

    Every time someone bumps this thread I get excited because I think someone’s found something.

    As finicky as the cables on my pedalboard have been, I personally wouldn’t mind that.

    Cheesedude- I remember reading an article where Mike was saying that they were working on a completely new analog effect. In things I’ve read about “magic” it never mentioned that though. Also, there’s been no solid connection between the superego & “magic.”

    Could be all the same thing, or three different things. You’re probably right, it probably is the former, but I’m just saying.

    maybe its a magic kit, A dagger and Goat – and a map to the cross roads.
    that would explain the “magic” thing.

    I have EHX’s twitter on Google Reader & a Google Reader app on my igoogle homepage. So when they post something. Good way to stay in the loop with latest postings and such. Although sometimes their twitter lags behind their main page.
