In the final stages of development, so in may be more that a few weeks.
Stay tuned….Quote:Quote:EHX New Pedal Announced-Namm 2012A few weeks. I can wait that long I guess.
I’m hoping for something Mod.January 26, 2012 at 11:30 pm #116856julianModeratorJust tell me it’s not a boost pedal. A lot of people on Harmony Central’s effects forum say it’s going to be a boost because in the 70s there was the Ego Microphone Boost.
January 27, 2012 at 10:45 am #116860DiscoFreqParticipantThey covered boosts already, except maybe an LPB, Mole and Screaming Bird in 1?
I mentioned the vintage Ego on HC and said that it’s possibly a voice effect, because it was a Microphone Boost.
Maybe something like this?

Just checking in.
February 17, 2012 at 6:28 am #116968julianModeratorStill no word yet, when there is, someone will make a thread about it I’m sure.
February 17, 2012 at 10:46 am #116969TenSecondTedMemberEHX seem to be saying on youtube that the 70’s ego and the new superego are unconnected.
*QUOTE*
In the 70’s Electro Harmonix had a pedal named Ego,and that was a microphone boost pedal.I might suggest that the SUPEREGO will be the remake of the old one.

@devendrabanhart1
The SUPEREGO has nothing to do with the old Ego Mic preamp!

February 27, 2012 at 10:20 pm #117043friedjesseradioMemberhey staff, could we please have an update on eta for the new pedal? thank you
March 3, 2012 at 10:05 am #117073TenSecondTedMemberThe suspense is killing me…..
My guess is a new synth/octave pedal.
A new, improved HOG?
(They share 2 of the same letters hOG eGO?)
March 4, 2012 at 10:46 pm #117079cheesedude5050ParticipantLet’s all remember that this is going to be analog, so it won’t be a new hog. He said it would be unlike anything on the market, so ate frankly, I have no guess. But really mike! It’s been over a month. You could at least tell us what it is
March 5, 2012 at 7:16 am #117081kev77MemberI think its a cable, thats it.
March 5, 2012 at 2:35 pm #117083julianModeratorEvery time someone bumps this thread I get excited because I think someone’s found something.
As finicky as the cables on my pedalboard have been, I personally wouldn’t mind that.
Cheesedude- I remember reading an article where Mike was saying that they were working on a completely new analog effect. In things I’ve read about “magic” it never mentioned that though. Also, there’s been no solid connection between the superego & “magic.”
Could be all the same thing, or three different things. You’re probably right, it probably is the former, but I’m just saying.
March 5, 2012 at 9:36 pm #117090kev77Membermaybe its a magic kit, A dagger and Goat – and a map to the cross roads.
that would explain the “magic” thing.March 9, 2012 at 1:15 pm #116367julianModeratorI have EHX’s twitter on Google Reader & a Google Reader app on my igoogle homepage. So when they post something. Good way to stay in the loop with latest postings and such. Although sometimes their twitter lags behind their main page.

Loads of finished pedals at Electro-Harmonix where we just got exclusive demos of two brand new, top secret pedals. We can’t tell you about them – yet. But watch for a video demo in the coming weeks. Until then, what do YOU think they’re up to next? -
