    Hi, have a new DMM, love it, but every few times, when I hit the on / off toggle, the light comes on, but the effect isn’t there. I plan to return it to the dealer for a replacement, but first wanted to check to see if there might be something I am overlooking to fix this.

    I’d open it up and check for a loose connection somewhere.

    Thanks for the replys, I did open it up, no solder connections appeared bad or lose, didn’t know how to take off the knobs to look at the back side of the board, so am returnig for a replacement.
