give it a blend, gain, start, stop, time and feedback knob. let the cycles start everytime the pedal is engaged and fully end after turning off. give it positive and neg. regen. and the jewel in the crown would be through zero!!! and of course envelope and ep input and… and…
this would be great but what it would need for me to replace my foxrox with it is an effects loop. that’s what the very few envelope phasers and flangers out there are really missing.
I can’t wait for them to come out! But you know what i find funny is if EHX wold make a .88 power amp that wold bee just instant overkill.
Just got on here and wow this is a different thing
Well neo clone, but it has the depth control
What exactly is it???
im guessing the freeze gliss mode offa the hog
truthfully im a bit disappointed. i was really wanting a hog2. hopefully those products on the front page arent the only ones coming out. i think they look kinda cheap
You know, last year one of the guys from EHX emailed me about a schematic for the vintage Headphone Amplifier and I disassembled mine and drew out the schematic for him. I asked if they were considering a reissue and he just said “Hmm, could be.”
Guess that was a yes.
The Freeze allows you to sustain whatever sound is going through the pedal at the time you press down on the footswitch. If you play a bar chord on the guitar, then press down on the footswitch, that bar chord will sustain for as long as you hold down the footswitch on the FREEZE, or if you are in latching mode, the chord will sustain until you press the footswitch again.
It is the Freeze function from the HOG but without the Gliss.
Freeze… like… really… i want it and i haven’t even see it yet
Me too, I want a Freeze!
I’m curious to the decay on the Freeze. I am wondering if you could have it freeze a chord or note and decay naturally while you play over it. Because that would be awesome.
There are four decay rates available on the Freeze, from instantaneous in FAST mode, to three slow decay rates in SLOW mode. You select the SLOW decay rate during power up, by holding down the Footswitch while applying power to the pedal, the toggle switch then selects between medium, medium-slow and slow decay rates. When you release the footswitch the slow setting is saved and is remembered during power cycles.
freeze is sounding like it’d be instant post-rock, esp if combined with the cathedral.
yay a proper diecast small clone.
