it could potentially replace a couple pedals on my board. even if it doesn’t, i’ll still get one for how awesome it is.
July 15, 2010 at 12:52 am #110227friedjesseradioMemberi wish i would have gotten that instead of my bmptw
July 16, 2010 at 7:41 am #110274freshchopsMemberI’m eager to get the Freeze but based on published dates early on, I thought it should be available by now?
July 16, 2010 at 1:36 pm #110275julianModeratorIt’s available. A couple people here have gotten one already.
July 16, 2010 at 3:11 pm #110280tyberhMemberI’ve got one. And I’m from Portugal, lol.
Btw, forget what I said about the Freeze’s footswitch before. My unit was faulty. I have a new one and the footswitch is momentary as it should.

I’m seeing a couple small shops online selling them….. honestly, I assume these small mom & pop shops are selling them in advance and they’re not on hand because small shops have to do that to beat the big ones to the sale…. while they may not actually have them on hand yet. I’ve got a cart full of things I’m about to buy at M.F., but waiting for the Freeze to pop up there first.

July 21, 2010 at 4:14 pm #110392CryabetesParticipantSo i watched a video of some fat man playing with a freeze
and what I hadn’t realised is that the fast mode can be pretty much identical to how a sustain pedal works on a piano.
which really makes me want one more.July 21, 2010 at 6:46 pm #110402A-3POParticipantQuote:So i watched a video of some fat man playing with a freeze

which really makes me want one more.Do you mean you can hold it down while playing and have the notes overlap?
July 24, 2010 at 5:50 pm #110470CryabetesParticipantnot quite (that would be nice, wouldn’t it? or a delay/reverb pedal that did that but would clear when you lifted your foot?) but just in the sense that it isn’t just a repeat-hold style delay.
August 7, 2010 at 7:42 pm #110767Trae3abMemberI have my Germanium Muff en route and it will be here this week.
Waiting patiently for this.
Is it really a muff though?
August 8, 2010 at 8:11 am #110770julianModeratorWell it’s a muff, because muff just means distortion in EHX lingo. But the big question is whether it’s a Big Muff. . . which up until now has meant BIG MUFF. Nobody knows if it is a Big Muff or not yet. I think it could be a heavily modified one, but we’ll see.

I think I’ll end up getting one either way though
