Hey, I just started using my new 22500. Getting on fine with it, then I tried linking to my MAC, which again seemed ok, had good access to my initial WAVS recorded. Then the unit simply froze on a bank (92). None of the knobs or switches work or change it’s mode now. Except, if I take out the SD card. Then it just states ‘NO SD’ when the mode is turned to BANK. Put it back in and the same happens. Switched off/on several times and also tried the latest Firmware, however it already was on so the 8 lights didn’t go solid at the end of this process (I’m assuming this is the case here).
Slightly perturbed but just hoping it’s a corrupt SD? Also, is there anyway a new SD can be formatted with a MAC. I don’t have access to a PC tbh.Help me please! Cheers!
UPDATE: Thought I had sorted as I spotted some duplicated files in the LOOP13 (ie 1-13 copied over some how). I cut and pasted aware, but retained if I was mistaken, then I was able to scroll down from the jammed Bank 92, but not above 92. However, the unit still is not functioning correctly. Almost as if it’s been shorted somewhere.
I have only used the supplied Power Supply also.September 1, 2020 at 9:10 pm #126390Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorThis is most likely some kind of corruption on the SD card. Try formatting the SD card with the official formatter app issued by the SD Association, it can be downloaded from this link: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/
The app is available for Mac and PC.
Do a full format on the SD card rather than a quick or fast format.

So:
I did a full format overwrite, took a while as noted.
DL the most recent firmware
DL the 16 Loop Rhythm beats.SD in and power on. Tried a loop on one of the banks.
The Trigger didn’t seem to work (set on 85). So I tested with taking the trigger off.
It appeared to work but played back the riff without much sound clarity and a lot of crackle/distort.
Then all the LEDs went off, it moved to bank no 7 from 20(I think).
Apart from the Bank red LED, but nothing else lit and when I press/spin the mode button it does not flash or change modes. Please can you confirm I have done the correct procedure with the SD, unless I should try a new/different one? Otherwise I feel this could be a faulty unit.
Many thanks

It could be a faulty unit or a faulty SD card.
What are you powering the 22500 with?
September 3, 2020 at 4:06 pm #126394Martyn Unit 8MemberHi, I am powering the unit with the power adaptor which came with the unit.
OK so I will try tomorrow with a new SD card. And if that does not work I shall talk to my supplier (GAK in Brighton, UK), I have already made them aware of the situation.
Cheers

I have completed the SD process as before with a brand new SD card I had, and unfortunately I’m still getting crackle/distortion and non-sensical flashing of LEDs as before, so I will contact my supplier for the next stage.
Cheers for the advice. Much appreciated.
