Hi
I have a Neo Clone Chorus, and also a Holy Grail Plus reverb. Now I am happy with both. I have had both for around 2 months. Recently the Neo Clone has been distorting. I thought it was my amp, but I have narrowed it down to the Neo Clone (I think…). Now it starts off great, but after 5 mins it starts to distort badly. It is on batteries. If I use it with the power supply that came with the Holy Grail the problem seems to go away. Now, I have not exhaustively tested this, but I am pretty sure that the above is true.
Any suggestions?
Oh and this is my first post here – and I love both products, but I can’t live with this problem!
Cheers

i may be wrong but the most simplest answer would probably be a dieing battery. have you checked its condition? a older battery would definitely cause this issue with your pedal.
also remember that when using batteries, weather its in a pedal or an active guitar, unplug them from the input jacks when not in use! when the cable is inserted into the jack, it also switches on the battery power to the pedal, so to save life, use AC or disconnect all cables when not in use!
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I suspect it was a silly post of mine and that the battery is going. Although I would have expected a bit more than 8-10 hours life which is probably all it’s had. It starts off fine, then after 5 mins starts distorting which indicates the battery to me. It’s always unplugged from both input and amp when not in use.
I’ll get a power lead for it.
Cheers
Phil
