HEy all, this is my first post here.I recently bough a Nano Clone Chorus pedal off of eBay.I got it today, and it looks fairly new,as per the description.I can tell it wasl ightly used but it doesnt look damaged.Anyway,I put a new 9V Rayovac battery in it,plug my guitar into the input, and a cord going from the Amp side to my Egnater Head.I turn my amp on,and I hear nothing.I press it down lightly, nothing.I press it until it clicks, and I can hear my guitar, but the Effect isint ‘engaged’,and the LED light doesnt go on.I dont know what thep roblem could be.I doubt I got screwed over cuz I bought it from eBay,the p[erson has sold music gear prior and had full positive feedback,so I doubt I got screwed on eBay,so I figured I must be doing something wrong. If anyone can offer me any help,I would appreciate it, thanks!
….it sounds like the switch is faulty (or connections to it) Contact the seller and see what they say, he might well have sold it in good faith but maybe something happed in transit to you. If the guys a good seller with experience of ebay, he’ll probably do all he can to help you out. There isn’t really much you can do wrong with a one knob pedal, check the cables you are using, try a different battery, if it still doesn’t work ask to send it back for a refund….but contact the seller straight away, if you leave it too long he might be suspicious that you have broken it and are trying to scam him.
Just send him a message through ebay, be polite and explain whats happening.
Try and explain the situation and return it it to the seller. You don’t want to keep the Nano Clone anyway. Huge volume drop, noise and reversed polarity make that pedal a real pain in the butt to deal with. I’d just look for a regular Small Clone
Hi there, it sounds like the switch isn’t wired correctly or has a faulty connection.
I presume it’s true bypass, so it should be wired like this:

Good luck solving the problem!
