The problem im having is with stereo mode, i have a guitar into left input, and synth into right input, i want the guitar to go to my guitar amp, and my synth to go to my pa speakers, the dry signal everything is working fine, but when i do a loop the sound only comes out of my guitar amp, even when panning. Here is my setup, my synths (moog sub 37, prophet rev 2) and drum machine( roland tr 8s) laptop/midi (mpk 49 midi controller, korg pad control, using ableton and omnisphere) all use instrument cables, they all go to the mixer, then the aux send from my mixer goes into my zoom cdr, out of that into the right input of my boomerang, out of the right output, into the right input of my ehx 4500, out of the right output back into the aux return. Then out of the mixer to two electro voice 15 inch powered speakers.
My guitar goes into a rocktron hush>rat>boss rv5>line 6 dl 4>boss dd20> boss tr 2>boss dd 6>boss tr 2> boss dd 3>left input of my boomerang. Out of that into the left input of my ehx, out of left from ehx into my twin city tonebone aby, out of the A to an orange crush pro 120/orange 4×12, out of the B to an ampeg svt 3 pro/8×10
Up until the ehx, everything works fine, with no noise at all which is pretty great, however when i plug in the ehx how stated above, it does split the signals when its dry, but when i loop it just mixes it down into 1 single signal and either runs it through just my guitar amp, or my pa. Or just my guitar amp and bass cab and not the pa when i pan it. Not separate like the boomerang does. Not sure if im missin something, or if there is a weird mode, or something else should be panned a certain way or what. Ha im really at a loss. I read the manual and it states the outputs are a mixdown of the loop, not sure if that means just a single signal that is routed at the sametime to whatever outputs you are using, however i read on their forum from one of their reps it is possible to do it the way i want, Its a brand new pedal too, i have used it probably 3 times. It loops just fine, takes sd just fine, saves fine (have the foot controller) i could try my headphones on it to see if that is splitting. Not sure.

When stereo mode is enabled, the LEFT input is recorded on tracks 1 and 3 and the RIGHT input is recorded on tracks 2 and 4.
To separate the tracks to the two different amplifiers, pan the odd tracks all the way to the left and the even tracks all the way to the right.

When i get home from work im going to just plug my guitar straight into left input and out left to my amp, and 1 of my synths in right input and out to my powered speaker. With no mixer or other pedals involved to see what happens. If i can get that to work, then something in my signal chain is interfering with the way the signal is routed. Like i said tho, everything in my signal chain works up until the ehx, my boomerang looper splits the signals just fine and that is the last pedal before the ehx.

July 3, 2018 at 3:27 pm #124057BlackvomitParticipantDry pan to the left (ccw)
Track 1 left panned, track 2 right panned both faders at max.
When looped in stereo mode, the sound only comes out of guitar amp, which would be left output. The sound as in both my guitar and my synth.

Those both go to my pa out of the main left and right outputs of the mixer.
I feel like it should be working how i want it to given the way i have it all setup, and the pans set and everything. What should the left and right volume knobs be at, atm i have them both set at 12o clock.
The weirdest thing is that the dry out, is correct, my guitar goes through my guitar amps, and my electronics go to my pa, its when i loop where it sounds ok for my guitar going out of my guitar amp, but the electronics like synth are distorted and only come out of my guitar amp. (Distorted as in almost clipping super low quality sound. When i go back to playing through the dry everything is back to sounding good, i just cant keep the loops separated.
The weird thing, i know my fx loop on my mixer is working properly because that goes to the boomerang looper the same way, and the boomerang is keeping everything high quality going out of their seperate amps/pa like how i want it.

Regarding the Left and Right input gain knobs, 12 o’clock is good starting point. Are either of the CLIP LEDs light at all? If they are then turn down the gain knob for the corresponding channel.
