So, I invested and bought a brand new 2880 in late January and it seems to have developed some glitches. First off, I just cannot get a connection to my Mac using a usb cord. Nothing shows up. I went and bought a card reader which allows my computer to recognize the card, but only if it’s in the reader. I’ve seen this discussed on other forums and it looks like you have to format the card using Windows. Do I need a new card?
The second issue, which may have to do with the card as well for all I know, is that volume keeps cutting out. This only happens on the mixdown track as far as I can remember. as long as I don’t use the mixdown the other four tracks seemingly work fine, but if I can’t use the mixdown than that makes the 2880 useless for what I’m doing. Mainly I’m worried because, stupidly, I did not register my looper with EHX, so not sure if warranty will help if it’s messed up.
If anyone out there has had similiar experiences or some useful advice, please let me know!
