    Hello.

Recently got the memory boy. I was looking forward to it because I like the idea of having a wide delay bass line (see ‘one of these days’ by Pink Floyd). But, TO MY DISMAY!!!!1, when it came and I plugged it in it was only giving me a max of around 250ms. So, anyone have any ideas of why this is? I’m running the power through a pedal board, and there are three pedals before it in the sequence. Am I screwing it up or should I get a replacement, and if so, where can I get one? (When I say replacement I mean a working memory boy).

This has been an issue with the memory boys all along. The delay time is affected by cold tempetatures. If you warm up the pedal (literally, like by a heater), your delay time will come back.

Yeah, that helped, but only just. It’s still not at 550, and this is getting to be a pretty serious problem, because I have no use for a short, almost slapback delay. I’m going to send it back to EHX and see if they can fix it, or replace it.

It was all my bad, I was using the wrong power supply. Sorted now, with many self-facepalms.
