I am trying to put a value on this and I am having a rather hard time finding anything that has sold recently. It is in what I would call mint condition for a 30+ year old pedal. It is fully functional and bone stock, no extra holes. The only thing that may be missing would be the printed “wah knob” control label. But I don’t know if it was there originally or not. I also don’t know the difference between a “Muff Fuzz” or a “Big Muff”. I see many of the big muff models but very few of the Muff Fuzz. EH 3006a is what is printed on the circuit board. There is no date stamp but a small round CA sticker on the inside. Any feedback would be appreciated, currently it is weighing down a box so if it’s got some value I may like to cash in.

    Thanks

    Bob

It’s one of my favorite vintage EHX pedals, and pretty rare. I don’t see them on eBay very often – maybe once or twice a year at best.

I’ve only seen them in the style of treadle enclosure in your pic. I’m pretty sure they were in production in the late 70s.

My only complaint is that the bypass is a real tone sucker, so it’s best to put it in a looping system, like my Carl Martin OctaSwitch.

I’ll let the soundclip speak for the sound quality.

Great clip. I really like the tone of this thing and I am pretty sure I am going to keep it. What kind of value would you put on if I were to sell?

    thanks

    Hi Bob,
I know you posted this ages ago, but do you happen to still have this pedal? If so, I’d be interested in buying it from you. Thx.
