Functionality-wise I think Strymon safe; MIDI and proper patch storage are the primary non-trivial distinguishing factors for me.
Sound-wise, however? I’ve heard and read enough Strymon BS demos and reviews to believe that the Oceans 12 is at least as sonically interesting as the BS.
There aren’t a lot of music demos out there yet so I did this.
