It seems that the fact that you have to press the switch while recording is a slight problem for many people. Is there a way to mod the pedal and make it start recording when you press once and stop when you press again?
i read somewhere that its possible but with no more info
maybe but I don’t know if the tap tempo and ‘hold reverse’ would still work, I think I might have seen something about it somewhere but I have a feeling they modded it to have an extra jack for an external footswitch.
if I can find it I’ll post it for you, but it was a while back.
The switch in the SMMH is a momentary. You can wire up a non momentary switch with it if you’d like to do that.
