HI There
I’m posting this here as well in case I put it in the wrong place originally
For pictures please see my posting in the Vintage section
Thanks
I’m new here and I have a couple of questions about a heavily modded Stereo 3 knob Memory man I just purchased with the perhaps foolish intention of returning it to ot’s original state..or at least make it stereo again. It’s a Black coloured model with red lettering
Some previous owner had a gain knob added for boost when the pedal is turned on (not on the clean signal)also a feedthru pot with and off switch was added, this seems to adjust (or even turn right off) the dry signal.
Many connections look like the solder has been remelted on them.Perhaps in an attempt to troubleshoot
I’ll attach some photos. I’m handy with a soldering iron,I build little tube amps and modify others..Not too familiar with solid state gear however.
It also seems to have some ‘clock whine’ (high pitched zzz ringing on the echo) despite having the more desirable MN 30005 chip
Any help would be appreciated and or a schematic for this model and a picture of the guts of an unmodified one.
