    Hi everyone
    Does someone know which brand and which model of speaker Mike used in the very first Dirt y Road back in early seventies? It is a 10″ speaker. My model had batteries box (48 AA batteries, yep!)
    That speaker as and still is enormous loud. Using a Celestion won’t do as much it seems.

    The Dirt Road came out in the late 70’s and was not battery powered. You likely had a Freedom amp which used 40 D cells, not 48 AA. It used a heavy-duty CTS speaker.
