Hi,
Question regarding the square wave on the XO microsynth. With all sliders in the down position and the square wave and stop freq almost all the way up I should be getting a straight fuzz sound? The volume on the square wave fluctuates up and down. Sub, octave and guitar don’t have this issue. Is it broken and if so worth fixing? Or is this normal for this thing? Any help much appreciated!
No that sounds normal.
Try turning up stop an start as well as rate.
Also there is is a gain trim pot inside to raise the gain on the fuzz. It may me set to low for your instrument.
I will find a pic if I can and post how to adjust it.
Its a quirky box but creates some absolutely amazing sounds!
Thanks for the reply…I was fiddling with the țrimpot already. Just wasn’t sure if that’s how the fuzz was supposed to sound. I take that fuzz is tied to the envelope. Works better I the neck pickup…
