Hi all,
I just got hold of a Micro Synthesizer (the new XO version). It’s great, but there seems to be a built in noise gate that keeps cutting off my notes. Is there some way I can turn off/adjust this?
I’ve taken off the back plate to look inside but I can only see one trim-pot, and that seems to be for adjusting the input gain.
from what i understand, that trimpot helps greatly. it helps even more to have a compressor infront of it
Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any idea what I should be doing with the trimpot? More gain?
A compressor does help somewhat, I get more time before the gate cuts in, but ultimately it’s the same, sudden stop when I’m trying to sustain a note for any length of time.
