My reissue (big box) micro synthesizer does not make sound (with effect engaged) for about a minute after turning on the power. The bypassed signal is normal. Turning the power off then on again results in waiting another minute for the effected audio to work. I’ve opened it up and the power supply seems to be sending the correct + and – voltages throughout the pedal from the get go. Probing will a scope, I see the signal present in the early stages, and missing in the output area until about a minute, when it suddenly appears out of nowhere.
What would cause this consistent 1 minute delay to hear the effected audio?
Mine takes a while to “warm up”…seems illogical I know. I will get processed audio but it will cut off early.
