Hi all,
Can anybody tell me what the second trimpot (the one concealed by the case) is, and how you would go about setting it?
I was tinkering recently and adjusted it to see what it did…..Silly me, I couldn’t tell exactly what happened, but I dosen’t quite feel right now, it don’t seem to respond as well as it used to.
Thanks
Paul
hmm. not sure , but it’s a good idea to mark with a pencil where the trim pots are originally set for reference . Guess that doesn’t help , but for the future…
Set your MS on with the filter so you can hear it sweeping, then slowly turn the trim that you messed with, adjust it very finely until it sounds right. If it doesn’t sound like its effecting the filter, turn the filter to a minimum and set something else to the maximum and adjust it again, do this till you find what it effects. Either that or send it to Howard Davis for repair.
In future don’t turn trims that aren’t user friendly, I see far to many people ruining their effects because they think they can get it to sound “better”, if this were true, the companies would set it like that for you as they want their effects to sound the best they possibly can.
