Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › MICRO SYNTH SUSTAIN NOT ENOUGH
I really love running my MicroSynth into a Fuzz pedal but It is very frustrating as no matter how I set the trigger I can only get it to sustain for a very short period (maybe a second or a second and a half) before it cuts all the sound off. This also makes it impossible to roll back my volume while using the MicroSynth as it just gets choppy or shuts off. Of course I have tried running the Fuzz before the MS and that helps for sustain but the effect of the MS is compromised greatly. Any suggestions , mods ?
Put a compressor before the Microsynth, I use a Pigtronix Philosophers Tone and it will sustain nearly forever.
I certainly have tried putting a compressor in front which helps with sustain but adds a lot of noise. The Pigtronix PT claims to be very quiet….is it?
