I am having no luck powering my EH Metal Muff with a 9V adapter. My pedal works fine with a 9V battery, but when I plug in my adapter the LED’s are very very dim and the pedal does not work. I tried powering the pedal with the adapter without the battery and it had the same result. My friend just bought a Metal Muff and my adapter works fine with his pedal, so I am guessing the problem has something to do with my pedal’s DC jack? If so how could I fix it? Please help!
i would contact EHX in sum way, maybe you have it under warranty. you havent been the first person i have come across with this problem concerning the power jack, but yet it will work fine with a battery.
i think sumthin went wrong with a couple units during production and it should be fixed or replaced.
the other two people i talked to (one here in the forum) had the same issues and side effects (dim LED ect..)
