Hello there, I’m a total noob when it comes to this stuff, but I just got a second hand Metal Muff w/ top boost, and when I plug it into my Dunlop DC Power Brick, it won’t turn on. I was told that the Metal Muff needs a 9.6 volt 200mA adapter. On the Dunlop website, it says the Brick has a 1,000 mA output capacity. And I have it plugged into the 9v jack on the brick. Also according to the website (and printed on top of the brick), it says the barrel is positive and the center is negative. The inside of the pedal looks pristine, no damage anywhere, nothing rattling about, and it works with a battery. Does this mean there is some kind of damage to the power input jack on the MM? By the way, this pedal is pretty sick so far! Thanks for any feedback anyone.

The power jack on my muff works fine because I use it with my marshall adaptor when I use it alone.

That also can happen if the power supply doesn’t have isolated grounds. Try using just the 1spot with the mmtb, with no other pedals conected. If that doesn’t work, your pedal might be fried.
