Hello Fellow EHX Members New to the Forum here.
I have a Metal Muff w/ Top Boost and after realizing recently that it has a Volume bypass issue. I really didnt matter but now i do. Once i bypass the Metal Muff its 3/4 of the Volume than the Amp is so when i engage it it happens to sound lower than the clean effect of the amp. Thats with the Volume Full. After doing some testing such as Batteries instead of adapter, etc I found if i turn 1 knob all teh way it brings the volume up. Such as mids or treble. But as soon as 12o’clock hits its all thin and very harsh sounding.
Is this what a normal metal muff would do?
Thanks,
MobiusR
that is not normal, i would have it returned, or repaired!
im planning on getting it shipped out to EHX For repair but i long lost the receipt. Can i still repair it under warranty?
