Well first off hey to everyone in the forum. I’ve been a long time viewer of the forum, and a die hard ehx pedal user, but have never had a need to post so this is my first one.
My new metal muff with top boost sounds so awesome..it is the sound I wanted for what I’m trying to record with the band at the moment. However, last night I gave it a good long use, and when I was done and clicked the ‘bypass’ switch, the led dimmed but didn’t actually turn off. It continually got dimmer over quite a long period of time. (when I unplugged the power supply AND the input jack it would actually completely turn off). My muff pi has a bit of a slow dim on it as well, but I run it on batteries as opposed to the supply. Otherwise the pedal works flawlessly and is brand new. I’m really good friends with all the guys at my local shop where I got it so I guess I could take it in if this light thing is a problem, but seeing as the pedal works flawlessly I’m considering that this could be a normal side effect of the amount of time the light was on and how long it would take to cool down and eventually turn off. Any thoughts or similar experiences? (doesn’t necessarily have to be the metal muff, or even an ehx pedal at all for that matter.) Thanks again guys, and as always, rock on.

If it’s too loud for you, you might be getting too old

I had a similar problem with my Biyang FZ7 (fuzz); I think I just stomped it too hard one day and yeah. But now it gets brighter when I play harder so that’s kind of neat.
