Hi EHX forum.
I was just wondering if anyone can advise me or has experience with the following problem I have with my Memory Toy pedal:
Upon engaging the effect there is a significant volume drop. At 100% dry, my guitar comes through fine at the normal volume level and as I start to increase the blend knob the original guitar signal quietens as you’d expect, however the delays that come through are also really quiet so that when blend is at 12 o’clock, as you engage the pedal, there is massive volume drop.
I thought it may be the battery dying, so I unclipped it and tried to use a 9 volt AC adapter (the same one that I use fine on other pedals), however upon engaging the pedal, although the LED lit up I wasn’t getting any effect from the unit at all.
I bought the pedal as new so I’m pretty stumped as to why this is.
Any help muchly appreciated.
