    Hi
I just bought a Memory Toy.
I’m playing my guitar through it and any low bassy note distorts.
Is this a defect in the unit or a problem with these pedals?
Is there an internal input or output pot that can be adjusted to solve the problem?
    Thanks!

you must have a duff unit.

Its the first trim on the bottom left of the circuit board. Clockwise is less, CCW is more. Mark it before you turn it because too much can make it not work(it won’t damage it). There is also a trim in the top middle that messes with the mod depth or speed I can’t remember. Mine will only self oscillate when it is distorted, so I turned it down and it sounds beautiful just no oscillation. That’s a fine compromise for the beauty of its sound to me!

Thanks! I will try that. But does it reduce your volume a lot when you engage the pedal?

As far as I could tell it is strictly voltage to the ICs. It had no real effect on the volume.
