I have a brand new Hazarai that doesn’t seem to be working correctly???? When I start from scratch in the manual (Basic digitl delay using tap tempo)it indicates to turn the Hazarai knob to the Echo 3 Sec. All is fine until I try to tap the tempo in with the tap button. It then goes into loop mode and keeps playing a loop???? The tap button has no effect over the timing…. It does this in other settings also (not the loop setting).??????
You’re holding the tap button too long, and it is putting it into loop mode. Every setting (except 1sec+Rev) has the ability to loop. So in regular delay mode, with the intention of tapping in a delay, press and release faster. If you want to loop what you’re hearing, hold it for more than a second (which is what you’re doing) and you will have a loop. You can switch to another delay mode and add loops in another setting if you want. If you want to erase the loop, turn the pedal off and press down the tap button until the loop deletes. If you like the loop and want to mess around with it, shift it to loop mode on the haz button and then you can mess with it in accordance to the directions.
There you go.
Thanks for the reply! I’m certain that I’m not holding the button down when I try to tap the tempo in. At least not 1 second for each tap! Next time I’ll try even faster tapping to see what happens and keep you posted. So recap…It should be able to have the ability to change tempos with the delay turned on without going into loop mode as long as you don’t hold the button too long for each tap Also, it seems that you can change tempo while delay is turned off? Thats kinda cool!
So gary, did you work it out?
