Hey guys, I just received a Memory Man w/ Hazarai for Christmas, and I’m really excited to play around with the pedal. However, the pedal does not function at all. I plugged it into different outlets, and the lights won’t flash, even after fiddling with the different knobs or pressing the bypass button. The product is new and out of the box, and all of the parts were wrapped. I did use the AC adapter provided, although the adapter did say that it was a replacement for Boss and Ibanez (why would I get a replacement adapter for a new product?), but the adapter does match the product code in the manual.
Any tips or suggestions? Is there something I’m overlooking? I know I can send it in, but if there is another solution, I’d rather use that and skip the wait. Thanks.

9V Power Jack
Plug the output of the SMMH’s supplied AC Adapter into the 9V power jack located at the top of the SMMH. The SMMH requires 9 – 9.6VDC at 200mA with a center negative plug. The SMMH accepts Boss style AC Adapters.
WARNING: Use only the US96DC-200BI adapter that the Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai comes supplied with. Do not use any other AC adapters. Using other AC adapters, even those made by Electro-Harmonix, could cause harm to the unit, the adapter or you. The SMMH does not use batteries.

Hey Scottv, the ac adapter I’m using was supplied in the package (it was new, wrapped up and everything), but it was labeled as a boss adapter, not a EHX one. The adapter meets all of the descriptions you posted, so I assume it’s fit for use. In any case, it seems as though the adapter or the pedal is dead, and I called up Amazon to have it replaced. They’re sending me a new one free of charge and it should be here in the next few days. Thanks for the advice!

EHX did not manufacture there own adapters, and those are the ones they supply with there pedal.
it was not until very recently that they started including adapters with there name on them.
there is seriously sum thing wrong with your pedal, you need to return it for a new one!
