My brand new Memory Boy is completely dead with a 9v battery. (Yes. A new battery). No sound, No LED, no nothing. Press again and the bypass signal shoots right through. It works fine with the power supply. Has anyone had this problem on this or any other pedal? Thanks.
I’d say the problem lies in either your battery connector (most likely) or the DC jack.
You didn`t use a cable with a stereoplug at the input of the boy by accident instead of a mono one, did you?
I used the power supply supplied with the unit.
