I just bought an eagerly awaited memory boy and i like the sound but when in bypass i’m getting a strange noise. it’s not hiss but more like a frying pan type of noise. I suspect the power supply but i’m not a tech. any ideas or suggestions? ( I didn’t try another supply since documentation suggests a major catastrophe is possible. thanks in advance

is it daisy chained with other pedals?
what power supply are you using?
not using any other devices in chain. guitar(yahmaha pacifice 921)>memory boy (original ps from manufacturer)> amp. noise is not an issue when unit is on, only when in bypass mode.
thanks
supposedly its true bypass so when off there shouldnt be any noize/signal coming from the pedal. it sounds bit strange, some short circuit maybe? should be easy to fix though i guess if it works well when on.
