I recently picked up 2 Memory Boy analog delay pedals, one for each amp in a stereo amp configuration. I just noticed something which presents an unacceptable problem: when engaged, they noticeably boost the signal. With the mix knob turned full counterclockwise so that the affected signal is bypassed entirely, engaging the pedal(s) produces a significant volume/gain increase. Bringing delay in and out of the mix during a song brings about changes in volume (of the dry signal). This is not good. Engaging the effect shouldn’t boost the unaffected signal.
I’m wondering if this might be correctable by adjusting some internal trimmer. I certainly hope so, because I really like everything else about the effect. But the increase in volume that it produces is unacceptable. Please advise.

I’ve since opened up the unit and found that there are 6 trim pots inside, labled trim 1, trim 2, trim 3, and so on. I don’t want to start randomly turning trim pots though. I don’t have a lot of time before the 30 day return period ends, so I’m really kind of desperately hoping that someone will tell me which trim pot controls output volume. PLEASE HELP ME!
