Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Mem Man DX advantages over Memory Toy ?
Ive acquired a memory toy and I just love it, it really does make everything sound huge and there is zero noise to worry about. I also have a USA Small Clone chorus and , it too, is just a feast of great analog tone. I know the memory man deluxe has modulation built in , but how does my Toy / Small Clone partnership pair up against it ? Is its chipset going to offer superior tones and modulation, or is there not much in it ?
The Toy deserves to be a massive seller , quality analog delay at a stupendous price, and then they bring out what looks astonishing……the memory boy deluxe !!
Way to go EHX

My opinion has always been that effects that do one thing do it better than another effect that does it and something else.
In other words, I’d go w/ Small Clone and Memory Toy.
The Memory Man modulation will only affect the delays – not the original. With your set up
the chorus will affect both the original sound & the delays.
Both ways are great – depends what you’re looking for.
