    I just want to know when they’ll be on the shelf. Sweetwater says they are coming. Nothing in American Musical Supply, Musicians Friend or Zzounds or even any info on Mel9. Got to have this pedal. It will rock worship service for sure

    Sweetwater has informed me that my MEL9 has shipped. I have full electric and acoustic duo gigs coming up. After I use the MEL9 in live venues I will be doing a review.

    I plan on several hours of quality time in the living room getting used to the Mel9 before the
    gigs. The blend is high on my list.

    I spent about 4 hours today with the Mel9. I need keyboard technique in the place of guitar technique. At this point there is one thing I really don’t like about the Mel9. The dry output is always there if split. If I run the Mel9 dry out to one amp and effect out to another amp, the dry is going to the effect amp also. Cutting the vol on the dry to zero still sends the dry out. Running the single effect out you can cut the dry out with the vol control. This pedal will have to be within hand reach and not on the floor. I can see constant adjustments being made.

    Mine arrived today. Electro-Harmonix has just raised the bar and changed the game again.This sets a new standard for guitar synthesis.

    Well quick fix if you are splitting like that.
    A simple a/b box.
    Take the direct to one amp. Then feed the Wet sound to an A/B box and turn the mel9 on and off with that.
    In other words you leave the Mel9 on all the time and use the A/B to turn the effect on and off.

    OK EHX staff. I am using my A/B/C box. I can now send the dry to one amp, wet to another, and turn on either, one, or none. Thanks!

    Just wondering of EHX is going to be at the Dallas Guitar Show at the end of this month so I can check out the MEL9 live and in person before I take the plunge. Thanks~!
