First off, let me say that I’m not a “stompbox pedal person”. I’ve had a few pedals in the past, but never liked them enough for all sorts of various reasons to keep them and always went back to either straight in to the amp with no fx or just using rack fx exclusively.

I accidentally found the Mel9 video and after checking it out, I was completely hooked and bought one right away. This is so cool! I believe this is THE pedal I’ve been looking for for so many years but didn’t exist until now. Myself and my band are absolutely LOVING this, and how it helps us to define our own signature sound while continuing to stay a three-piece band. After all the years of shunning pedals, this is the pedal I’ve been waiting for.

I do have a question or 2 about some small quirk in regards to my rig setup with this pedal, but I’ll post that in the appropriate place.

But I want to give a huge huge THANK YOU to the creators of the Mel9 pedal and also ask….”what took you so long?” lol
