    Hi, I was wondering if there’s any settings to make the Ravish Sitar sound like a Japanese Shamisen string instrument? If not, are there products out there that can make an electric guitar sound like a shamisen?

    The Shamisen is a Japanese instrument that has a unique thin twang oriental sound. See this clip for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5rs7pfZuPs

    The Ravish Sitar Pedal is obviously designed to make your guitar sound like an Indian Sitar instrument, but I was wondering if there are certain settings on the Ravish Sitar Pedal where it will make your guitar sound like a Shamisen?

    If not, are there products out there that make your guitar sound like a Shamisen?

    I’m sure there are settings that would sound similar, but nothing that’ll give you the “knock”/”pop” sound from the Shamisen.
