I purchased a black Russian Big Muff Pi, a year or so ago and it worked great. Since I’ve started using it again, I cannot, due to the feedback. As soon as I click on the pedal it just gives loud horrible feedback. So much that I cannot use it at all. I do have it in a daisy chain with the battery clip attachment. Recently I thought maybe adding the “creamy dreamer mod kit” to it would help but that did not fix it. The mod kit works, but all I hear is the same feedback then and now. Can anyone help? I have plugged it directly into my guitar and amp bypassing all the other pedals and still all I get is LOUD FEEDBACK. When I added the mod kit I noticed a yellow wire with a solder less connector, is that the ground? I put it between the two pieces of the pedal and screwed it down, is this where it goes? I really hope someone can help as I used to love this pedal and now it’s getting ready to be removed and now with the mod kit I really want to hear it, without the feedback. Thank you.
