    Hi,

I would like to know if I can use this with guitar and bass simultaneously, In other words connecting guitar to (for example) the right channel and connecting the right output to the guitar amp, Likewise plugging in the bass to the left channel then outputting to a bass amp.

    1) Would this setup work efficiently ?
    2) Could the tubes or the pedal get damaged using this kind of setup ?

    Thanks

I don’t see why that would be a problem, it’s got 2 seperate channels so it’s no different from sending 2 halves of a stereo signal into it really…. I don’t have experience with the pedal, but that’s my understanding anyway.

    Thank you for helping,

I also thought I shouldn’t be a problem if two channels are independent.

While buying the pedal I asked the sales clerk about this and he said it wouldn’t work efficiently and it would result in overloading the pedal.

Anyway I just wanted to be on the safe side.

    Cheers

The sales clerk is wrong, i’d go back and ask him to explain this.

    from the EHX site:

“Line-level preamp. Two tubes deliver optimum gain while remaining quiet and transparent, offering amazing definition and warmth. In either stereo or dual mono mode, the LPB 2ube offers two full-frequency inputs and outputs, as well as the potential to gang the I/Os.”

‘dual mono mode’ … ‘two full-frequency inputs and outputs’ ask him if he knows what that means. :D

Why do these shops give these people jobs when they have no idea about what they are selling? This kind of thing makes me angry.

    Thank you sir!

I also read that description on ehx website and thought well we could revive our (transistor) guitar and bass amp with this. Because the sales clerk warned me not to do it I needed a second opinion on this and came here =) I’m glad I did. Thanks again.

    Take Care
