if I run a LPB1 through the fx loop on my head, what can I expect ? I dont like how the LPB1 sounds in front of an amp at all. what id like it to do is make solos sound bigger and fuller , but not add any more gain to the original sound.
If you don’t want more gain, put it at the end of the chain instead. The fx loop may solve it too, but try putting it at the end of the board to see if it helps. Consider that its not the same increasing the volume of a dist than increasing it’s input gain. Also remember that every booster it’s aumenting the gain (increasing volume). You may refer to distorting the signal maybe? Another thing you can make is to try an eq.
