For some reason when I turn on my distortion, I get a hiss that seems to be coming from my LPB. I put my LPB before my distortion and have never had this problem before. I know it’s the LPB because when I lightly press down on the footswitch or push the pedal harder to the floor, it goes away.
Has anyone else had this problem?
my chain goes 60th American Deluxe Strat -> nano lpb -> boss od-20 -> hum debugger(which takes the noise out, but I don’t want it on all the time when my distortion is on) -> Digitech Hardwire Reverb -> BBE Sonic Stomp
have you tried different cables? or are you solder-knowledgable enough to check the jacks? I had a short on one of my cable [actually the tip of it came off in my moogerfooger] and a new cable fixed it.
crap, that could be it. I remember that cord giving me problems before. It was one of those gold-tipped cables where you cut the length to however long you want. I knew it was something stupid like that, sorry to waste your time, thanks though.
it was the cable afterall…thanks
hehe, glad we could help.
well done Cryabetes!! have a gold star…
