So, I bought an LPB 2UBE off eBay and am running it through a Roland JC -120 to try and warm it up a bit. I’m hearing a difference in levels but not much warmth. The real issue is that when I switch the input level knob from hi to lo it gets a lot louder. Or from lo to hi it gets significantly quieter. Which is not only backwards, but the jump in levels is quite extreme and seems abnormal. I’m going to try it through a little fender vibro champ to see if a tube amp make a difference in the sound. But this hi lo reversal has me stumped. Any ideas ?
