When I place my LPB-1 in my signal chain, there is a MASSIVELY LOUD buzz coming from my amp. Doesn’t matter if the pedal is on, off, on AC power, or on batter power—just by being in the chain, all I get is a massive, loud buzz. There’s zero signal from my guitar.
The pedal suffered no abuse, and the inside of the pedal looks fine (though, admittedly, I know nothing of pedal electronics!).
Ideas? Thanks!
My guess is there’s a bad ground connection somewhere inside.
thanks for the response!
how should I proceed in fixing the ground? do I just isolate the ground wire and solder it to the casing?
Did you look to see i f there was a loose wire somewhere?
yup, I looked, didn’t see anything wrong on the inside. I’ll check again when I get home from work, though.
