Hi,
I recently got a “Brand New’ DMM XO from Reverb. It’s my first pedal so I sort of am new to all this. This is the product: https://reverb.com/item/35957411-electro-harmonix-deluxe-memory-man

It sounds quite muddy and not clear. This model only has “electro-harmonix” on the right side of the pedal. I have a feeling this unit isn’t as good as the ones labelled “made in nyc”. I know DMM is supposed to have a dark-type echo with highs cut off but this is very different from demos I’ve seen on YouTube. Please let me know if I got a worse or (fake?) unit.
