I just plugged this in for the first time in a few weeks and it seems to have acquired a loud humming noise since the last time I used it. I tried a battery instead of the Voodoo Labs power supply with not change. A different pedal does not have the problem so it’s probably not the cable. Changing settings on the pedal has no affect either.
Before I sent it off for a warranty repair I was hoping to have a few ideas I could try.

I think the noise may be the nature of the beast. I moved it to another amp and the noise abated somewhat. I guess this is why the noise gate was included.
