Hello.
A Canadian Electro-Harmonix user here.
Recently my Micro Pog began to pop loudly when switched on. This began after about 5-10 minutes use.
Tremendous pulsing static sounds would then come out of the amp; it sounded like I was touching the live end of a guitar cable. Now the pedal will light up, and signal passes through with the effect both on and off, yet there is no effect being produced. I am using the proper power supply and the problem persists whether I use the pedal by itself or in conjuntion with others.
I haven’t owned the pedal very long, although it is a used pedal without warranty card.
I would like to know, do you have any clue what could be the matter, based on my description?
I love the Micro Pog, and would consider sending it you for non-warranty repair if you thought the repair cost would be more reasonable than buying a new pedal.
Thank-You
